Fees & Costs

Transparent, regulated fees

The firm is guided by the Advocates Remuneration Order (2014), formulated under the Advocates Act (Chapter 16 of the Laws of Kenya), which regulates the remuneration of an Advocate of the High Court in litigation, in contentious and non-contentious matters, and the taxation of costs between parties in the High Court, Subordinate Courts and Tribunals.

While billing for litigious matters largely depends on the value of the subject matter, the nature and complexity of the matter, its urgency, the work required, disbursements and whether the matter proceeds to trial, all legal fees are subject to agreement with the firm.
